One of the best holidays of the year is just around the corner – the Fourth of July!! Everyone loves getting around the BBQ and swimming in the pool and of course watching the fireworks. Whether it’s your first time in Ventura County for the Fourth or if it’s your hundredth time, we have the perfect list of things to do this weekend!

  • The Pushem Pullem Parade

This is primarily a street fair with a fun parade as well. This event is great for families and includes arts & crafts, food vendors, inflatables, rides for kids, and of course the parade! This event is the perfect go to right before you hit the fireworks!

  • Channel Islands 5K and 10K

This is a great way to stay active during the holiday weekend! You can run in the morning before grilling with friends and family.

  • Channel Islands Children’s Parade

This is a great one for kids! There will be crafts, an inflatable fun zone, a rock climbing wall, and food booths.

  • Ventura Fireworks Show and Family Picnic

At Ventura College, this event includes live music, food vendors, and a kids zone! This is also a charitable event so all proceeds will be donated. A great way to spend your holiday and support the community.

These are just a few of the many events held in Ventura for the holiday! There’s no better place to spend the Fourth of July than in beautiful, sunny Southern California.
