Ventura Neighborhoods

Ventura Beach Keys
Ventura beach front homes

If it is beach living you are looking for, this classic Southern California beach town was recently named one of the most livable communities in America.  Miles of uncrowded beaches and almost perfect weather year round.
Many of the homes in Ventura’s beach neighborhoods are literally steps to the sand.  In the Keys you will find some homes offer private boat docs in their backyards.   No matter where you are in Ventura, you are not far from the beach but these neighborhoods offer beach front living at it’s finest.

Downtown Ventura
Follow Main Steet through the heart of the city

Rich in history and culture, you will find Downtown Ventura to be the heart and soul of the city.  The architecture is eclectic with Victorian homes dotting the streets and a strong Spanish architectural influence can be seen in many homes as well.
This is the entertainment corridor with the city’s many restaurants, theatres nightlife and antique stores located here.  The lines between business districts and neighborhoods may blur at times in this area.

Midtown Ventura
The area which stretches between California Street and Mills Road

If you are looking for the unique Spanish style homes with their character and charm, but you don’t want the active lifestyle of downtown, Ventura’s Midtown offers some of the same Spanish architecture in a more subdued atmosphere.  Tree lined streets and large yards typify the landscape in this area.
While the homes are situated in quiet  surroundings, you don’t  have  to venture far to find the city’s shopping malls.

Clearpoint and Ondulando
Ventura Hillside homes above Foothill Road

If it’s a view of the ocean, city lights and mountains you are looking for, look no further.  Ventura’s hillside homes offer beautiful panoramic views!
Since these hills stretch the length of the city, you can find almost any type of home Ventura has to offer within its rolling expanse.

Ventura East End
The area which stretches between Mills Road and Wells Road

Family living best describes this area with emphasis on little league, soccer, and schools.  Ventura has expanded to the east for several years now.  Among the many parks you will find the Community Sports Complex, newly built in this area.
Interspersed among the neighborhoods are citrus groves which are reminiscent of the areas agricultural past.

Ventura Westside
The area west of California to the city limits, Ventura Avenue

Ventura’s Westside can be described as vibrant, culturally rich and artistic in nature.  This area is designed for foot traffic and is only steps to downtown Ventura.
The Westside has benefited from the city’s revitalization program which respects Ventura’s diverse neighborhoods and insists on the highest standards of quality in architecture, landcaping and urban design.
